MANAMA: Two Bahrainis were badly burnt yesterday after one of the two gas cylinders they had Micro cylinder allegedly stolen from an MP’s home in East Riffa, Multi-quick fitting exploded in their car as they Water solenoid valve escaped.
The youngsters stole the cylinders from parliament legislative and legal affairs committee vice-chairman Shaikh Jassim Al Saeedi’s home.
They were pursued by residents as they escaped, when one cylinder exploded.
The duo were moved to BDF Hospital for urgent treatment for burns to various parts on their bodies, while a case was filed against them at East Riffa Police Station.
“Today I was a victim of a terrorist act that not only aimed to harm me but also my family as strangers trespassed my home,” Shaikh Jassim said in a statement.
